Earth Day has become one of the most widely celebrated environmental events across the globe. Historically, Earth Day began on April 22, 1970, when 20 million Americans took to the streets, parks, and auditoriums to demonstrate for a healthy, sustainable environment in massive coast-to-coast rallies.

EMS would like to celebrate Earth Day, as we are a company focused on sustainability, energy solutions, and energy efficiency. EMS’s own Green Team is sponsoring an Internal Employee Earth Day Plant Giveaway. Plants in your home or office improve your air quality while plants outdoors reduce erosion and support a healthy ecosystem. Take advantage of the health benefits of indoor plants and the ecological benefits of plants and gardening. Our winner will receive a nice plant to take home or plant outside their home.

Here at EMS we appreciate the environment and strive to build a better world. Our energy solutions provide property owners and managers with the right tools to run a sustainable portfolio of properties. Submetering is at the core of EMS’s business offering, as submetered buildings typically reduce consumption from 15% to 25% in commercial buildings and by 18% to 39% in multi-tenant residential properties. Submetering maximizes building value, minimizes energy usage, and optimizes building intelligence. Learn more about submetering here!
