Historically, Earth Day began on April 22, 1970, when 20 million Americans took to the streets, parks, and auditoriums to demonstrate for a healthy, sustainable environment in massive coast-to-coast rallies.

EMS’s own Green Team is sponsoring an Internal Employee Earth Day Plant Giveaway. Plants in your home or office improve your air quality while plants outdoors reduce erosion and support a healthy ecosystem.
