The Value of Installing an AMR System

As a property owner or manager you have the option of a manual read of your property, or an AMR read when working with us! As both methods work, the AMR read is a lot more efficient.
 
The manual read consists of a visual inspection of the meter and although helpful, it does have the potential to result in human error. An Automatic Meter Reading system, (AMR) when installed supports Real-Time Energy Management (RTEM) and allows building owners and managers to acquire and properly analyze real time data that is critical to reducing utility and operating costs.
The AMR system when installed has the following benefits:
  • real time data in 15 min intervals
  • automatically collect consumption diagnostic and status data from your meters
  • enables flexible reading schedules.

An installed AMR system supports Real-Time Energy Management by using advanced submeters to collect data about a building and using that data to optimize the building’s energy use.
