When traditional utility meters are not possible or economical, Energy Management Systems supplies and installs Run Time Clocks.They measure the length of time that a piece of equipment such as an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) unit tempered by a furnace and/or chiller line is in operation. The data collected by a Run Time Clock can be used to calculate each tenant’s percentage of use and compare it to the cost of operation of the chiller.
